During the past week, Astor Group has been active at two major Nordic defence events – DALO Industry Days 2026 in Herning, Denmark, and the Swedish Air Force’s 100th anniversary celebrations in Linköping, Sweden. Across the two events, representatives from the Group met with customers, defence authorities and industry partners, while technologies and products from several Astor Group companies were showcased.
At DALO Industry Days on 19–20 August, Astor Group was represented by members of the group together with a representative from a partner. Throughout the two-day event, the Group held meetings with customers, partners and other defence industry stakeholders, with discussions covering current and future requirements, market developments and areas for potential cooperation.
The joint presence also provided an opportunity to present capabilities from across Astor Protect and Astor Industry and demonstrate the breadth of expertise, technologies and industrial capacity within the Group.
“One of the things that attracted the most attention at DALO was our underwater drone. Several visitors initially thought it was simply an eye-catching display piece and were genuinely surprised to learn that it is an actual product under development. That curiosity created a natural starting point for conversations about both the technology itself and the broader capabilities and offering we have across the Group,” says Louise Åberg, Chief Operating & Communications Officer at Astor Group.
During the same week, Oscilion participated in the Swedish Air Force’s 100th anniversary celebrations in Linköping, showcasing its capabilities within electromagnetic warfare. Astor Group’s presence extended beyond Oscilion’s own exhibition, with products and components from other Group companies also visible elsewhere across the event area and in other exhibitors’ displays.
The two events represent part of Astor Group’s continuous commercial and business development activities. Customer meetings, demonstrations, industry events and ongoing dialogue around future requirements are important parts of building relationships and developing new business opportunities across the Group’s markets.
