Electromagnetic Warfare – Radar jamming

Astor’s system manipulates radar signals from ships, aircraft as well as stationary radar stations by receiving and transmitting signals. The enemy cannot identify where the target it is located. Or if there is one.

In field tests, the system has proven to be very competitive compared to most qualified international players.

With holdings in the composite companies Marström and JPC, the Astor group ensures in-house production of protection for antennas as well as radar equipment and electronics/ radomes. The market for lightweight solutions and composites is expected to increase with annual growth of just over seven percent until 2027.

Marström is a leading Swedish founded composite company. The company manufactures boat
masts, parts for boats and aircraft and military products.

Laser cutting & etching

Astor’s component part of the group, Mikroponent, manufacture, through etching and laser cutting, metal components that are between 0.01 and 4 mm thick with outstanding precision. The range is infinite as they provide both function and decor through their technique in both the industrial side and within home design.

Airsafe Sweden is the Nordic leader in military and civil aviation safety equipment. The company specializes in calculating, designing, developing, manufacturing, and maintaining parachute systems and technically advanced sewn products for military and civilian purposes, both in Sweden and internationally. Additionally, the company markets, repairs, and carries out maintenance of aviation safety equipment.

Scandiflash develops and supplies flash X-ray systems for measuring fast-moving objects.
